I have a friend married to a psychiatrist. Until a few years ago, he was
one of the few shrinks in the Bay area that accepted Medicare patients.
The govt paid him $45 for a visit. It took him about 1/2 hour to fill
out the paperwork for the visit. So finally, he stopped taking medicare
patients.
