ALBANY - A key adviser to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told abortion- rights supporters yesterday that the Democratic Party "has to be big enough to accommodate a wide range of views on this issue."
"I think the Democrats are going to have to be a party of broad views," said Howard Wolfson at an appearance before the annual meeting of the Family Planning Advocates of New York State.
Wolfson said yesterday that while the Democratic Party "is the party of pro-choice America," it needed to be open to anti-abortion candidates.
