JBIC helps improve water environment in Binh Duong http://www.nhandan.com.vn/english/life/171106/life_jbic.htm

The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) will grant a preferential loan of more than JPY 7.7 billion (approximately US $66.7 million) to a project to improve the water environment of an area between the Dong Nai and the Sai Gon Rivers in southern Binh Duong province.

Documents for the loan were signed on November 16 between a JBIC representative and the People's Committee of Southern Binh Duong Province. Under the project, a waste water treatment system will be built to improve the water quality of the Sai Gon and Dong Nai Rivers.

Sewage systems will be built for all urbans and industrial centres in the area, while canals, ponds and lakes will be dredged. (VNA)
