A friend of mine in Oakland, Ca., backstage after a Psychic TV show in the late 80's, was invited to fondle Genesis P. Orridge's genital piercings. She demurred being there with her boyfriend. Material on Throbbing Gristle, his band before P-TV is in, "Industrial Culture Handbook, " # 6/7 (Paperback) by V. Vale (Editor) Used to have a 45 by them, "Zyklon-B Zombie."

An interview with him can be found in, "Tape Delay: Confessions from the Eighties Underground, " (Paperback) by Charles Neal , along with other greats like Diamanda Galas, Mark. E. Smith of The Fall, members of Laibach and Einsturzende Neubaten, Boyd Rice (forget if he talked about his Nazi beliefs), and the guy from Swans. One of the Swans albums I used to have was, "Public Castration Would Be a Good Idea."

If you collect vinyl, get the collection of live Psychic TV albums that were released, one a month, in the late 80's. One I had had a droning, shouted chant by Genesis P. Orridge, "Are you free? Are you really, really really free?, " went on for as long as In A Gadda da Vida.

Reflections on an interview with Dugin, btw, can be found in this great book on Rene Guenon, Julius Evola, "Traditionalist" thought and Fascism, "Against the Modern World: Traditionalism and the Secret Intellectual History of the Twentieth Century (Hardcover) by Mark Sedgwick, Cambridge Univ. Press, 2004.
