Doug,

I got the details 2nd hand from the person who was supposed to host me but cancelled after the Poles withdrew their Consulate for the meeting. What I sent to friends is what she told me. The ADL now swears they only 'brought the problem to the Poles' attention', and the Poles insist (see NY Sun this morning) that they made their own decision after looking me up on the Internet, though they concede that they did receive 'a few' calls from the ADL and other interested patries. Note, though, that the Sun called me for my views less than 120mins after I was called and told it was cancelled. Since neither I nor the organiser contacted them, it seems reasonable to suppose someone at ADL called to report their victory.
