Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Le Dung on October 4 reaffirmed Vietnam's position in favour of a Korean peninsula free from nuclear for a Northeast Asia of peace, stability and development.
He made the statement in response to queries by correspondents on Vietnam's reaction to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s plan on nuclear tests.
"We wish that related parties will be well restraint, make efforts to resume six-party negotiations, narrow the difference and reach early solutions to the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula, thus contributing to peace and stability in the region and the world as a whole," the spokesman concluded.
