Woot! I always enjoy a playoff loss by the Yankees. Growing up with the
Royals-Yankees rivalry in the 1970s, it's kind of an ingrained thing for me.
I'm glad that the Tigers and the As won. But my team for the playoffs is
the Mets. I picked them to win early on in the 1986 season and I really
enjoyed their '86 championship. But my favorite National League team is
the Brewers.
On a sadder note, Kansas City's own Buck O'Neil died yesterday. :-(
