I cannot comment about the issues regarding internal Lebanese politics, but there is also the possibility that part of Nasrallah's depression comes from seeing Lebanon bombed to hell and littered with cluster bombs. Or, in the words of the article, "the disaster visited upon them by Nasrallah's belligerent adventurism".
