I'm tired of the trope that these folks are somehow the "real America." According to the 2000 Census, 77% of Pennsylvania's population is urban. About 50% of the state's population lives in two large metro areas alone, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Fuck all that stuff about "churches, libraries and sweet shops on their main squares." We've even got churches and libraries in Manhattan.
