Yamaha Motor Vietnam had a spare parts factory inaugurated at Hanoi's Thang Long Industrial Park on October 24.
The factory was built on a 10 hectare plot with an investment capital of US $14.3 million.
The factory plans to produce 1 million sets of cylinder head for vehicles and 660,000 sets of gear boxes and disks for motors. As many as 35% of those products will be exported to Japan.
The factory is expected to earn a revenue of US $20 million in its first year of operation. (VNA)
