Indeed. It has become increasingly obvious over the last few decades that "Stalin" (with no necessary relelationship to Stalin or past Stalinist politics) is of vital importance to the health and self-satisfaction of too many different political tendencies today to let him die. Mpug's fixations are merely a pathological expression of this far more general need of so many leftist and centrist currents. The right could probably more easitly dispense with this bogey.
