Now you write:
"I can understand there are genuinely humanitarian types who aren't motivated by anti-semitism who sincerely wish to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians." And do you understand that there are genuine anti- Arab racists who don't care about (and do in fact take joy in) the suffering of the Palestinians?
" I suppose it would be in the short-term interests of all parties involved if every single UN resolution relevant to this conflict were immediately applied by all parties. But that also looks rather utopian at this point."
Wait. wherefrom this concern about utopianism? How does this follow from your principles? You just announced that you were not for socialism but genuine communism. You are completely losing me.
"Sometimes there are no easy answers. "
banality.
"I have no counsel to offer those who would ask what we would do to help the suffering of the Palestinians in the short term." Why do you have no counsel? Why would you adverstise your disregard here? You strike me as a violently unsympathetic person.
"I do know that I reject any proposal that involves inflicting suffering on Israelis."
So the Palestinians can't throw rocks at Apache helicopters because an Israeli soldier could suffer a contusion? Which proposals are ruled out by your stipulation? Why wouldn't the UN resolutions inflict suffering on some Israelis.
What the hell are you saying? And why are you so vague? I don't think you have any right to stand on the pedestal of logic, reason and light.
