Honda Vietnam (HVN) exported more than 39,000 motorbikes and 300,000 auto parts in the first eight months of the year, reaping revenues of US $18 million, the company announced.
The company has exported 200,000 motorbikes and about 2 million auto parts since it began exports in May 2002, earning US $125 million.
HVN products have been exported mainly to Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and the Philippines.
HVN first exported motorbikes to the Philippines in 2002 and started selling its auto parts in regional countries in 2003.
The company has been granted the "Excellent Exporter in 2006" award. (VNA)
