Cult Status
In the 80s and 90s the Manta B in particular became cult item among hotrodders [lit. "friends of tuning"] ... A fox tail on the antenna, sixpack on the back seat, and a blonde hairstylist in the passenger seat were Manta stereotypes. The stereotypical "Mantafahrer" also had a low education level, cowboy boots, an elbow hanging out the window regardless of the weather [same as the "cold elbows" of the Polish version] and many other social indiscretions...
