One of the strongest arguments I have seen for the virtues of fusion is "Limited Edition Oreo Dulce de Leche Caramel Creme Chocolate Sandwich Cookies." A fine example of a traditional archetypal anglo food made better.
Note that the name implies that "dulce de leche" still needs translation," unlike with the ice cream.
