<DIV>But the countries mentioned by Lerner (Russia, China, Sudan) do not receive U.S. aid and support to the extent - if at all - that the Israeli state does. Is it anti-semitic not to want to one's tax dollars to subsidize the construction of settlements or tp continue the occupation of the West Bank? Further, if one knows a particular company (like Caterpiller) is providing equipment (such as special bulldozers to demollish the homes of Palestinians), how is it anti-semitic to demand they stop? It is sad to see Lerner apparently buy into the definition of anti-semitism that equates it with criticism of the Israeli state. SR</DIV>
