[WS:] On the other hand, the New Yorker magazine runs a largely sympathetic piece about Wolfie http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/04/09/070409fa_fact_cassidy portraying him as an idealistic intellectual, almost a liberal, whose main fault is the lack of managerial experience. The piece glosses over the fact that he was the main architect of the Iraq fiasco, and suggests that his ideas about Iraq failed because they were shortchanged by Rumsfeld and Bremmer.
