Very funny. If anything, US workers need to learn a thing or two from Iranian, Egyptian, and other feistier workers, not the other way around. The latter are better at strikes, demos, and so on than the former. US workers* rarely go on strike, demonstrate, and so on even for their own interests, let alone others' interests, and it's an uphill struggle to get US workers and others to do anything in solidarity with their fellow workers at home. The "Western Left" hasn't even managed to end the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. that their governments are already waging -- why expect it to be able to do anything for Iran?

* The only exception in recent years are undocumented workers and their allies. -- Yoshie
