Yoshie and Jean-Claude might get a kick out of this.

This is the video to the Russian pop/hip-hop group Diskoteka Avaria (Emergency Discotheque)'s song Opa! The premise of the song is that a goofy-looking, stereotypical Japanese tourist visits Moscow, listens to DA, brings back a CD and they become huge in Japan. So if you want to see how Japanese are viewed in Russian youth pop culture, here's where you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZhoGoMFWQQ

Here's the same group in the video to the song Malinki (Little Ones), featuring the incredibly gorgeous Zhanna Friske, whom some may recognize from the Night Watch/Day Watch movies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSLXzZQJpRM

Friske is BTW slightly unusual among Russian T&A pop stars in that 1) she's over 30 and 2) Jewish.
