[lbo-talk] VT shooting and "war on terror"

When one realizes how easy it is in this country for a
deranged individual to buy fire arms, walk into a
public building and shoot 30 people - it is quite
obvious that a terrorist group can just as easily pull
the same trick and kill even more people.  

Yet there has not been a single terrorist attack in
the US since 9/11.  This begs the question whether
there are any terrorists in the US, and whether the
"war on terror" complete with permanent 'elevated'
risk of a terrorist attack is but crass fearmongering
without any evidence-based grounds whatsover.
