I assume you are asking: who wrote the stuff Joanna is responding to? If so: I wrote it. Unfortunately inflection doesn't render well in written text. The question ("What is wrong with...?") was the condensed repetition of a previous question (Wojtek's) expressed in incredulity ... as in, do we really need to pose this as a question?

And my comment was that it being a question that requires an [explicit] answer, reflects upon the attitude of the "modern left" -- which you have asked me to explicate, and I will, shortly (making sure to avoid the word "scientism" ;-)).
