Oh yeah, Salt Lake City mayor Rocky Anderson is a really good guy -  
politics as good as anyone who could ever hold elective office,  
smart, and really likable. He left the Mormon church when he was  
about 18 and really has no time for the thing now. He pointed out  
that the church still officially believes that people of color bear  
the Mark of Cain and no one ever calls Mitt Romney on this. A woman  
who's part of a team making a documentary about him says that under  
Mormon doctrine, when a man is sexually excited, he's inhabited by  
the divine spirit; when a woman does, she's inhabited by Satan. So  
she essentially has to submit to her husband's desire only when she's  
not in the mood. Rocky says that while there are a few "progressive"  
Mormons, they're really just people who haven't made the break yet.
