But, it does. I don't know how much exactly it is, but even leaving aside the obvious giant arms industry, aerospace, and Iranian nuclear power plant, Russia's domestic market of 145 million people is largely supplied by Russia. It also exports manufactured goods, primarily to the CIS countries and Asia. They are not driving Hondas in Uzbektistan, they are driving Ladas.
