Sopranos club sells strip poles

Fans of mob drama The Sopranos are being offered a piece of the action when the strip club featured in the hit show auctions off its props.

Dancing poles, a pool table and 10 bar stools are among the items being sold by Satin Dolls in New Jersey, which doubled as the drama's Bada Bing club.

Tony Soprano and his crew were often seen doing business in the club before the programme ended in the US in June.

"The poles have been featured in almost every single episode," the club said.

Managers of Satin Dolls, which was first seen in the pilot episode in 1999, decided to renovate after the show finished.

Other items being put up for auction include a disco ball, the fluorescent purple men's room sign often seen in the background and a bar where the Sopranos mob drank. The items will be put on eBay.

Satin Dolls already sells Sopranos souvenirs such as T-shirts, hats and mugs, and it is a popular stop-off for fans on tours of the show's locations.
