SINGAPORE, July 20 (Reuters) - Thailand's new oil and gas exploration round has attracted more applications during its first month than the whole previous yearly round, as upstream companies scour Asia for opportunities. Most applications were for onshore blocks, but big names such as U.S. major Chevron (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research), already the largest oil and gas producer in Thailand, went for offshore blocks. http://www.reuters.com/article/companyNewsAndPR/idUSSP305920070720
