This new video by Snoop Dogg -- yeah, Snoop Dogg, I am saying that -- totally kicks my ass. It's from his upcoming 2008 LP but it looks like it was done in 1984, and then towards the end has a tacky 70s thing. The video even has a grainy VHS look. Like Prince, back in his days with Morris Day and The Time ("Ice Cream Castles"), when Prince was doing stuff with Vanity and Apollonia.
Seriously, I'm not sure John Waters could top this. Hard to tell if Snoop is playing it straight or if he's taking the piss out of it all. Either way, this and Snoop's blurting "Fuck Bill O'Reilly!" on TV are making him a God among men to me. Raw genius:
