It's funny - there are lots of complaints about the ban on talking  
about Iran, and lots of mourning Yoshie's absence. But when I lift  
the ban, and post a link to Samir Amin's critique of political Islam  
- written by a guy who never could be confused with an apologist for  
imperialism - there's nothing but silence. Is there, as someone  
suggested to me offlist, some kind of weird chivalry that Yoshie  
excites?
