I'm definitely very interested. The communities around TV shows are often personally linked with the writers and actors; viewers create art and stories to go with the shows. And they love speaking with the families of those creating the shows.
It doesn't have to be about passive audiences taking what's shoveled at them.

Ronald Moore's wife is a socialist who publicly discusses her views on.. pretty much everything.. with Battlestar Galactica's fans. (Last I saw on the forums.) And these fans aren't only trekkies; they're a diverse bunch which simply enjoys quality stories regardless of genre.
