The lion's share on *prison abolition.* There are lots of grassroots groups out there which are doing radical work against prisons as well as solidarity work with prisoners.

It was good to hear on Democracy Now this morning about how one group was able to get New Jersey to stop using the death penalty.

Yes, there are lots of people and groups out there who are quietly moving things. This is what makes me upbeat and a bit irked at the defeatist attitude I hear these days from various activists, radicals and leftists.

Nobody said this stuff would be easy, but things add up.
