Maybe not in the U.S., where the labels started. Here they are inconspicuous by design. Elsewhere it's in big bold letters on the front of the pack.
But the larger story is that warning labels didn't come out of nowhere. They were part of a multi-pronged campaign to educate about the dangers of smoking. Playing the market can be hazardous to your health too, but we don't talk about it that way.
