Yes, Richard Freeman mused here at Berkeley that corporations under-invest in politicians given the great returns! Why there isn't more money in politics puzzles him. I actually thought he was pretty funny. To state the obvious, politicians may even be willing to go so far to get those contracts for their friends in faraway places. You gotta go the extra mile for 'friends' after all.
