My first reaction was how sad for Pakistan. Then I thought, wait a minute. Whose bright idea was it to engineer Bhutto's return from exile, anyway? Fraulein Doktor Condoleezza Rice. The US levered Musharraf, probably threatening to cut his budget for domestic crowd control. I remember thinking, what the fuck are they (Bush et al) up to now. Bhutto's gonna get hit either by Musharraf's secret police or the religious nutcases. Right off the plane, boom. Now this.
So, then I think back on the other meddling liberation favors the US has done all across the region. Let's see there's of course the Iraq war to liberate them---that's going well. There's the liberation of Afghanistan, another big winner there, and now a helpful hand to liberate Pakistan. I forgot something going on in Lebanon a couple of years ago, oh, yeah and our great help in liberating the Palestinians from their land and their government. The US keeps threatening to liberate Iran. I wonder how much more American liberation can the people stand?
Let's stop chewing on each other for a minute. The big picture says the US State Dept has another giant fuck up on its hands. And that means to me, the Bush administration along with most of the Democrat candidates will turn it around to prove we need more troops, more ships, more planes, more anti-alien racist crapolla and of course more CIA, NSC, and other covert ops rigamarole to keep up our noble and highly rational efforts to liberate the hysterical and fanatic Muslim hordes.
