Looks like the stock market thinks so. Over the last 5 years, MSFT has gained roughly 0%, while the S&P 500 is up over 30%, and the Nasdaq slightly more. Apple is up some 600%. The Vista rollout has had no impact on the stock. It may have been priced in already, but in that case, not much oomph has gone into the valuation models.

PS: Another former darling that looks to have hit a wall: Wal-Mart, down 20% over the last 5 years.
