Alternet has its nose so far up the ass of the Democratic Party that its slavish attachment to the DP's political agenda is obvious.
Alternet has started publishing articles attacking the "New Atheism" and the prominent writers involved with that movement like Harris and Dawkins. This kind of stuff threatens the interests of the Dems who intend to pander to religious voters in the 2008 election. We can expect to see more attacks on atheists and the radical left in the next two years as the Democrats position themselves as the "center" for the elections. You can also see this agenda on the recent book on Michael Moore, which is partially a hatchett job by a DP partisan.
I hope all of the liberal capitalist ad money has bought a new Hummer for Don Hazen, because it is the least he deserves for the hummer he is giving to the Democratic Party.
