The dealings both friends and I have had with the Blue Diamond Society have given me the impression that they are honestly pro-queer. They have agitated against the ruling elite for queer rights and seek to protect queers from attack whether from the right or the left..

anti-communist propaganda.

If communists are behaving in an anti-queer manner, then it is not propaganda. As a government is formed, we will see if sexual rights are part of the emerging laws and constitutions.

Does female = lesbian?

Why was a non-queer speaking for queers if they existed as comrades? It is very common for non-queers to claim friendship/closeness with queers as a sign of progressiveness. Such claims must always be rigorously interogated to prevent non-queer oppression and violence.

Yoshie asks:

before coming to a conclusion about it?

No, we shouldn't. As a queer, I have long recognized the value of an aggressive posture: it is always better to approach a situation from the standpoint that non-queers will be seeking to preserve their privilege and advantage. Queers must continually pressure non-queers to prove that they believe in sexual liberation. Otherwise, non-queers are most likely to backslide. Just as the moneyed elite will always look after their own interests, the majority of the non-queer sexual elite behaves in the same way.
