Yoshie, using an HTML tag such as the above (blockquote) does not necessarily render your message as expected (with the quoted text marked up in some way, such as with indentation) in all your readers' mail clients, even if these clients are configured to display HTML messages. For embedded HTML to really work (at least in compliant and capable clients), your message should be of Content-Type text/html (yours are text/plain). I think most of us agree that that (text/html messages) is a bad way to go. Therefore, perhaps you could highlight quoted text in some other manner:
Preferred but time consuming:
* prefix each line of the text with ">" or some other symbol * indent each lien of quoted text
Quick and easy:
* add text (non-HTML) and more visible markers:
===== begin quote ==================
some text
===== end quote ====================
or just the line separators:
====================================
some text
====================================
Thank you,
