The key point is that you ask us to take "society's" word that kinky sadism is like, equivalent to, the same thing as, torture or spousal abuse, even though practitioners explain to you patiently and in detail that and how this is not so, but I presume you do not accept "society's" judgment that Communism is bad, evil, totalitarian, repressive, destructive of all that is valuable in human life, utterly wicked, antithetical to everything decent. Presumably, as a Communist, you want people to take your word that this is not so, that Communism is liberating, humane, progressive -- despite what almost everyone believes.
But why should they believe you and you not believe, for example, Brian, that he's not a monster? I know Brian just as I know you, he's not a monster of cruelty any more than you're a Gulag thug. If I were a sub gay, I'd certainly trust Brian to be very kind to me; he's a highly ethical person and would never knowingly do anything mean or vicious. And I don't think he's an atypical BDSM Master , any more than I think you are an atypical Communist.
Unfortunately history is replete with real Communist thugs, sadists in the bad sense (You identified Stalin as one), and mass murderers, and I am sure that there are unethical and abusive kinky Masters; the books on the topic warn would-be subs how to identify and avoid those people.
But basically the point is that it's strange of you to
accept, and ask us to accept "common sense" and "conventional wisdom" and "what society thinks" about a sexual practice but reject that same conventional wisdom, and expect others to reject it too, when it comes to common sense views that Communists are the enemies of the human race.
