Remaining off topic - Chris Doss mentioned that he had heard that (the Greek term) "Jehovah" actually derives from a mistransliteration back in the 1600s or so ..(of the Hebrew term Yahweh)

I remember reading that the early written Hebrew of for both Yahweh and the tribe Judah are very, although not completely, similar. ( ie They often cause mistranslations of archaeological inscriptions.) If this is true, I find it very illuminating.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this subject. The book I read this is in was self-published. A reference was provided, but this was pre-Internet, and I was not located in an academic setting.
