These wankers are getting a fresh shot of energy from the Obama madness. Aside from early opposition to the Iraq war, what is the political content of this guy's appeal? As far as I can tell, it's that he's "post-political," i.e., a "healer" who can "bring us together" after the "divisiveness" of the W years. Well fuck that. Fuck the healing. At best, this means conflicts will be papered over in some tepidly centrist way; at worst, it means it'll be cover for a continuation of right-wing politics by other means. But the brainless vacuum cleaner will be hoovering up the bucks for Barack Hussein Obama in the coming months. The only good thing you can say about it is that it knocks Hillary for a loop.
