My partner is mulling over a job offer and was wondering if the place he's 
going is a dead end or is an entry-level position with the potential for 
advancement or what. I don't want to discuss it here so much, but thought 
if any of you are interested in an email from him and then offering your 
thoughts, you could email me offlist and I'll forward on details on the 
job, etc.

Oh, I'm looking for tech geeks who might have general clue about the 
industry., particularly in network administration with strong interest in 
security.

The reason this is so important is that he has a definite opportunity in 
Jacksonville, but he's not so sure he wants to stay in that industry. But 
he's also not so sure some aspects of the tech industry aren't also dead 
ends, particularly considering the pay we're seeing.
