That's not an objection. Women would still want to be associated with men (either along with other women ot=r or with multipole men) who paid attentionm to their needs -- one or many, it makes no difference.

^^^^^ CB: Not with one, special individual man. The category of men who are in the role of special caring male to a woman's children are "mother's brother" ,not biological father of the children. There are a number of men in the category of brother. A child also has several women in the category of mother ( It takes a whole village to raise a child). There would have been no need to select sexual partners who go out of their way to please in sex as an indirect indication that they would be especially caring in childcare and other aspects of "mating". There _would_ be reason to select a caring sex partner for purposes of direct pleasure getting ,yes.
