Well yeah but this isn't the most propitious moment for socialist politics. So you do what you can to promote the working class, end racial and sexual discrimination, and head off environmental catastrophe. And there are some really good people working on all those issues, and they need all the help they can get. Sometimes it seems like you get your idea of The Left from Bill O'Reilly.
