Important public environmental meeting in Brooklyn to Oppose the City's attempt to implant a Garbage Transfer Station in Bensonhurst that will poison Gravesend Bay and working class areas throughout southern Brooklyn.
Thursday, January 25 7:30 pm Shore Parkway Jewish Center 8885 26th Avenue, between Cropsey and Harway Avenues
(D train to Bay Parkway, and then take #6 or #82 bus going WEST (towards Cropsey), get off at Cropsey and 26th Ave.; OR D train to 25th Ave. and walk 3 long blocks towards Cropsey)
This meeting was called by NY State Assembly Representative William Colton (47th AD) and has been endorsed by a number of environmental and social justice groups including the Brooklyn Greens / Green Party.
