When did it not suck?

Some of the paintings in that slide show are from the 60s. Is the critic 
making a comment about contemporary art or art of the last 40 years?

Funny me, I thought art sucked more in the 80s when the mainstream art 
world was dominated by assclowns like Stella, Schnabel, and other idiots 
whose names I fortunately can't recall.
