SHANGHAI, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Merrill Lynch (MER.N: Quote, Profile , Research), Deutsche Bank (DBGKn.DE: Quote, Profile , Research) and Singapore's Temasek Holdings [TEM.UL] have invested $400 million in Chinese property developer Hengda Real Estate, the official Shanghai Securities News said on Monday.
The three international strategic investors had jointly bought an 8 percent stake in Hengda, which is planning a Hong Kong initial public equity offering, the newspaper said. ($1=7.7758 Yuan)
