Cool. However, I think that a more effective way of arguing would be that religion is like literary fiction - pretty much harmelss if treated as literature, i.e. something people just read and fantasize about. Censoring literature is of course bad.
However, religion and for that matter every literary fiction becomes dangerous when people start acting on those fantasies, and still more dangerous when they demand that others do likewise. Only because the latter is the case in the US and some other countries - active resistance against religion is warranted.
