López Obrador had another full Zócalo yesterday, one year after the
fraudulent elections took place. The main message of his speech is a
call to the legislators of the left to not negotiate with Calderón.
No to any of Calderón initiatives. Calderón's government is
illegitimate. He said yesterday's demonstration proves that the
political awakening of the Mexican people is a deeper phenomenon that
the pundits and the right expected. (On the bad news department, the
PRD, the main party in the left's electoral coalition, is rancorously
divided and the results showed in Zacatecas' state elections.)
