Chuck, Carrol -- you both make good points. But I don't think there's a 
single standard when it comes to murky shit like this. This rancid culture 
is having a negative effect on me, primarily because my kids are quickly 
growing up in it, and frankly, I fear for them. But there's also some old 
family problems that are rising up once again, stuff that would spin your 
top, or at least spins mine. I've been fighting this crap since I was 14, 
which was, what, 1973? So it goes way back.
