Moore doesn't try to get elites to have an attack of conscience, he's trying to get his audience to have an attack of solidarity, recognizing that individualism is a major obstacle to gaining ground against capital. And unlike most 'progressives' who just want to see the uninsured covered by the same rotten private insurance system that's screwing everyone, Moore attacks the insurance cos., also known as Capital.
Just saying the problem is "capitalism" isn't going to convince anyone who isn't already convinced. Herod seems to be distressed that Moore isn't spouting the same boring rhetoric the left has been underexplaining for decades.
