At the risk of sounding like a shill for class mobility, I think it's worth
keeping in mind that Howard Schultz grew up in a public housing project in
Brooklyn. While I can't know what goes on inside his head, I imagine his
class consciousness might be a little different than that of an old-money
brat like Bill Ford. Maybe Schultz doesn't resent such people, but I doubt
he identifies himself with them as closely as Ford might with, say, Bush.
